Leadership
As a young man, God captured my heart and changed my life. Never could I have imagined that God would transform me from being a self-absorbed hippie into one entrusted to lead others. I truly believe that whether leadership is exercised in family systems, business, church or other organizations, what makes it truly effective is influencing others to maximize their God given talents and to grow in their capabilities. In my Leadership presentation, I help you learn how to do that in your own leadership role, and with an attitude that positively impacts your own life while motivating others.
Decision-Making
Each of us face critical decisions throughout the course of our lives. At times, good decisions occur accidentally, but often, they require time and effort. I define decision making as the work of arriving at the best conclusion after applying intentional consideration to a given choice, and I believe it is possible to consistently make good decisions by learning to apply a set of principles. From my own decision-making experience in business and personal matters, I have developed a template that I love to share as I speak on this critical skill from which everyone can benefit.
Character
This topic is one of my favorites, for it is the foundation for almost everything else in life. Strong, godly character isn’t something you either have or don’t, but is like a muscle, that must be regularly exercised. In this presentation, I help participants identify the values they practice and live by, thus helping them determine if the character muscle they’re exercising reflects who they want to be and become. As listeners begin to see how their everyday choices and actions determine their relationships and either detract from or maximize their accomplishments, their character is shaped and strengthened.
Priorities
It’s been said that by looking at someone’s checkbook, one could know their financial priorities. This principle doesn’t only pertain to money but also applies to every aspect of our lives. When I speak on the topic of Priorities, I help others explore their underlying beliefs and identify their values. I then provide challenge and direction around how to organize their lives in a manner that allows them to focus on their most important responsibilities, without neglecting their values.
Stewardship
Most of us live in a culture that encourages the acquisition of increasingly “more”, resulting in the temptation to become negligent in our stewardship of the many tangible and intangible things we possess. In this presentation, I exhort listeners to exercise great care in preserving and caring for their valuable assets and demonstrate how being responsible to manage and care for what has been entrusted to them is a vital and critical element of their success.
Relationships
One of the greatest gifts in this life is being able to enjoy fulfilling and meaningful relationships. And yet, experiencing relationships in this way is one also one of life’s greatest challenges. As I speak on Relationships, I address how to increasingly become someone who loves, listens, and empathizes well with others. While we don’t get to choose another’s response toward us, learning to relate to others well, will help us to cultivate quality relationships throughout our lifetime and ensure we have little to regret.

My Approach
My approach to life is to look at everyone I meet as friends I’ve not yet gotten to know. I believe in collaboration and enjoy solving problems and meeting needs collectively. I also believe that life is only fully experienced when we choose to continually and fully surrender our will, our thoughts and our actions to God. In every aspect of my life, my approach is to be spiritually hopeful and enthusiastically cautious, while being excited about opportunities to present the Gospel and help those who are doing the same.
